I know you said on any given Sunday "nice disclaimer" Anyone else out there willing to throw down their 2 cents?
I agree with P4S but think Surf White is better than Draluck, and I think EG and San Juan are better than Magic..other than that same list.

SD Surf just beat Blues 2-1 in the San Diego Summer Surf Cup....this last weekend.
So you appear to be correct about Surf over Blues.

Caught the Placer Alliance '99 Stars today. They're a pretty decent team with talent at the "key" positions. Hope to hear good things about them as the season progresses. Keep up the good work girls.

Are the Placer Alliance Stars the same as the "Placer Prestige" teams?

Placer Prestige would be Placer United. Placer Alliance is geographically close to Placer United but a totally different organization that is supported by the local select leagues (Rocklin, Roseville etc.). Placer Alliance has also aligned with Placer Blues but I'm not sure how that relationship will unfold.
On a different note I watched the u12 Everton team in action in a Norcal State cup game the other day. Very impressive, great athletiscm, loads of very good players and most impressive - a very sophisticated playing style that showed a lot of ability to 'read space' and interchange with teammates 'on the fly'. Especially their center forward and their attacking middle mid who would alternate who was attacking the space. Center forward dropped and pulled the fullback coverage down with her and the attacking mid would attack the space on nice runs. A level of sophistication to the game that isn't easy to teach at this age. Very nice game to watch.
