A lot of teams seem to be skipping this one, for whatever reason.
It should be the Pride's to lose.

I don't see San Juan, Placer United, Sac United or the Davis group. Are they boycotting Everton because Everton is still with CYSA and not with Norcal? Or is there another big tournament going on? Or are they avoiding the Everton 2000 team? I believe this is the Everton 2000's teams first tournament this year. They were very dominate last year but I hear they lost players. It will be interesting how good they are.
Anyone have a guess how these these teams rank from 1-10? I know the Everton 2000 team was good last year but I haven't seen several of the other teams play so I don't know how good they are. I see at least one lower level Select team in there, it could be a rough tournament for them.

I don't think anybody is avoiding the Elk Grove team... if anything, it's the other way around. It more likely the timing of the tournament as teams are on vacation, or heading South this time of year. The better teams in the age group could have passed due to the lack of competition as well.
As as ranking goes... Mustang Pride is a top team in the age group... the El Dorado team is decent... EG if you're basing off last year... After that, your guess is as good as mine. Again, on paper, Mustang should breeze through.

I agree, no one is avoiding EG team as they would generally welcome the opportunity....I too think it is just timing with vacation and other competitive tournament play. Good luck Elk Grove and Mustang! El Dorado is supposed to be very good too from what I've heard so good luck to them as well.

Looks like Mustang pulled it off... a little tougher than I would have expected though.
