Have you seen these proposed changes by NorCal?  They suggest 7v 7 at U9 and U10 on 60 x 40 field MAX.  7v7 OR 9v9 at U11-U12 again on smaller fields, and only moving to 11 v 11 at U13 with larger fields.  

Thoughts?

If that happens, I hope they won't let goalies punt.  U11 state cup nothing but goalies punting the ball to eachother.  Our goalie had an assist from a punt without even trying hard.  Another assist off a goal kick.

Proposing changes is one thing, implementing them is another thing. Getting all of the clubs to modify their fields? Not sure if that's going to happen. At least not immediately.
