Quote MessageNot true. Cal Blues did have teams in this age bracket. The only time Nor Cal keeps a "new" team from playing norcal is if the coach leaves and takes the entire team. Then he can't coach that team the next season. Blues is already in at Norcal and Norcal will place them in the appropriate level for their team. Cal Blues had multiple teams playing both in League and State Cup. They will however, have to prove themselves but Norcal takes input from coaches. If the New team scrimmages a couple of decent teams and beats them, then they should have no problem being seeded correctly.

Phew it's gonna be a crazy weekend! Just as we get one boy finishing up his comp soccer career, we have one moving up to ("real" / U12) soccer and one just getting started (U9). At least it worked out so we only have one trying out this weekend. There are a lot of good options out there this year so I've had to do lots of homework.
Good luck to you all, see you on the other side

Yes. Good luck to all.
While the attention always follows the top level teams and players, my heart goes out every year to the other enders... and to the dedicated parents that prep them up, pep them up, lead them out, cheer them on, dust them off, whisk them away, and do it all over again 2 hours later and about 7.4 miles down the road, with the hope that it will finally be the year to find "their team" and the rainbow on the other side of tryouts. Hats of to you friends...these are the good times and you are good folk.
I trust the coaches will all give you the respect you deserve.

Nope... as of today (March 27th) Jeff is still on there... along with his brother. The Chaidez family are also listed.

GRYPHONS SC 98/99/00 Girls ( and 03 Boys) have OPEN tryouts, if you want to learn from a great coach, contact Coach Ricardo via email and come to a few practices to see if you like it. He is an outstanding coach, many of his players are ODP & PDP (STATE and Regional), ID2, NTC, or now play ECNL. Email him for more info.. RGNMarta23@aol.com
