Where's Manteca, SRU and Sporting?
I noticed AFA decided to play NorCal in the following group:
Mustang
AFA
RAGE
Diablo
MVLA ( Palo ALto)
RAYS

SRU is playing up in NPL.
I'd guess Manteca is playing up and Sporting is going with CYSA.

CYSA? Using guest players in tournaments and playing in lower leagues doesn't earn brownie points from competitive parents. Perhaps some absorption into MVLA or De Anza next year is likely.

Looks like Manteca jumped into Region 6 at the last minute.
Region 2/3/4 is going to be fun to watch.

It's not necessarily a statement of which regions have the best teams, but I think 2/3/4 will be the most competitive from top to bottom.
There are a few teams that might make things unexpectedly interesting. Unless I’m mistaken, the MVLA/Palo Alto teams will be combined, AFA is competitive, etc.

MVLA Monsoon Blue and MVLA Blue Thunder (nee Palo Alto Blue Thunder) don't combine until spring. For now they stay the same except for a couple of unrelated off season moves.
Monsoon picked up a very strong player from Alpine. The consequences of that move should be interesting.
So this should be a very competitive bracket. Can't wait to see how it plays out.

Quoted from: Norcal9, August 23rd, 2012 03:58 GMTManteca in ... Should be best region which includes Davis, San JUan, Manteca and Placer... Region six a lot better than region 2/3/4...
Mustang beat Manteca, Placer 2x, San Juan and Davis.
Diablo beat Manteca but lost to placer
Rays beat Manteca
Rage beat Davis, Placer 2x and tied San Juan
San Juan beat Mustang Manteca beat Rage, Mustang, Rays
AFA, Palo Alto and MVLA likely push with Davis and Placer
To me it looks like region 2-3-4 is better at the present time.
