Did hear that Manteca was playing with it's normal roster but also heard Mustangs were down several players who had injuries.
Also heard there was a red card call that wasn't made on the Manteca keeper and several stall/flop tactics to waste time on their part as well. +10 minutes or so but no stoppage time?
We all know how rumors get started but sure would hate to think those types of tactics are being taught at that age. Is it wrong to play the game right anymore?

Stalling tactics for Manteca? Well as we all know once a team is winning there are always stalling tactics that put into to place by the team that is winning. The question that should be asked is if it is part of the game? I can understand walking to the ball that has been kicked out of play as opposed to running, or subbing players or taking time setting up a kick but to have flops, fake injuries to get subs in that is ridiculous. Would like to hear from WDRKB to see if this occured. He is usually a source of good and honest information. What's the dealio WDRKB??

As I stated earlier, we did't use guest players. What I didn't say was we also were missing two of our best players were out. I didn't say it because I don't make excuses. Slowing the game down is an excellent strategy in any timed sporting event. These girls are not 8 years old.
