Remember only 3rd year of this tourney. It has increased in teams and coaches each year. Give it time, it will be one of the best showcases.

This age group is not a showcase since there is a championship game and consolation for 3rd and 4th. I sincerely doubt that a college coach will be there since the older teams are playing about 45min away.

Showcase is U15-U18....However will be some fun games to watch in the younger set.

True, plus U15G is not showcase format, either.

I agree. Even the super-stars of this age group are a full year away from that kind of attention at a showcase event.

The focus with college coaches will be 16's mostly and 17's a bit. It's tough having this tournament the weekend before vegas which probably takes away some coaches from outside of nor cal who would come normally since they don't want to make 2 long trips back to back weekends.

Some of the coaches that are listed are not planning on attending becasue they are focusing their recruiting budget on better, higher quality events. In time, as the level of teams become better, coaches may elect to attend this showcase.

The ture college showcase is next weekend in Las Vegas. There will be close to 100 college coaches at the showcase.

Vegas is one of the best in the nation. This showcase will get better each year and i think over time can be the best in nor cal maybe after rage but it will take time.

Las Vegas College Showcase is a national-level showcase, and probably among the top 6 or so showcases (on the girls side) in the entire country. Yet, that level of showcase (national) is not necessary for most NorCal teams. Showcases with a smaller profile, like Juventus, may be able to provide a sufficient opportunity for other teams and even for some players on top teams. Time will tell if Juventus can satisfy that market segment.
