So has anyone seen the Save Gregg Thompson page on Facebook? Is this really going on? Placer United just finished with changes and now this? Are there really members looking to replace him already? What say you Placer United members?

hmm, interesting!!  Most would say that it was PU reaching out to GT to join forces as a "if you can't beat them, join them" move. GT is a major force in the Placer area.  If he leaves, PU will have their hands full with the competition GT will bring with his next venture.

I hope whoever put this Facebook page together has all their facts correct before making a page like that. Regardless, it sounds like drama!

Drama sucks, and I haven't heard anything directly other than what's been said on that FB page but it is very obvious there are some people in the PU administration who dislike GT and were against this merger from the start. Hopefully this is something getting overblown but if there is any truth to this I am disappointed. These board members would only be hurting PU and by extension, the kids.

All I can say is that we have been very happy with the new PU all the way... And we are former non blues family. Felt the club was on track to become and stay the top managed club in the region. (not saying there are not other really good clubs)
This is really annoying and is hopefully off the table soon. But I agree the person posting on FB better has some facts and its not just rumors. But I hope its all just that and GT will continue to lead the club.
I am sure GT has many options if he get pushed out the door which would only hurt the club.

Sounds like more parent problems again.  They could do a reality show here in Nor Cal.
Can we cut the parents?

From the post it would seem that placer united is taking this seriously. This post has also been mentioned on their FB page and GT soccer shared the link.
Is this team mentioned the "A" team or do they have a "B" team. If so could it be unhappy former "A" team parents?
I would hope that everybody just enjoyed the up coming season. Enjoy their kids playing a sport that they enjoy, no matter where they play or play for.
To me it looks like there is a lot of talent in that club to be having problems.

Right after we cut the coaches, DOC’s, and GM’s that want to profit off of us parents and our kids without accountability.
